Hbase increment can be used as a counter and is thread-safe. If thread safety is not considered, will single-thread operation perform better than get & put? With this question in mind, I did the following tests.

Increment

Htable.batch (incrementList) batch submission without cache

Htable.get (getList) & Htable.put (putList)

Hbase increment cannot be submitted in batches because there is no cache on the client, resulting in poor performance. It takes about 2.5s for increment to accumulate the same 500pieces of data. It takes about 0.4s for batch get and then batch put, which is six times the performance of increment.
