Static translation refers to the translation of private IP addresses in the internal network to public IP addresses. IP address pairs are one-to-one and are immutable, and a private IP address is only translated into a public IP address. With the help of static conversion, the external network can access some specific devices (such as servers) in the internal network.

Let's do some experiments on the topology diagram.

Experimental goal

Address translated to 12.0.0.3 network segment when PC1 accesses PC3

Address translated to 12.0.0.4 network segment when PC2 accesses PC3

1: set the address and gateway of PC1 PC2 PC3 first

2: configure switch SW

Turn off the router function

Do the duplex matching of interface f1max 0

3: configure router R1

Enter global mode to do the duplex matching IP address of port f0amp 1 and turn it on

Set the IP of port f0max 0 and turn it on

4: configure NAT on the router

Convert 192.168.10.10 address to 12.0.0.3

Convert 192.168.10.20 address to 12.0.0.4

Enable NAT on the port

End exits to privileged mode

Turn on NAT snooping test debug ip nat

5: use PC1 PC2 ping PC3
