First, open PADS LOGIC, click "File" in the upper left corner, the drop-down menu shown in the figure appears, and select the report.

Second, select the bill of materials and set the properties.

1. On the Bill of Materials setup page, first look at the "Properties" column. (the component attributes and field titles in the picture are edited by myself, please refer to)

Component attribute Code; material number CLASS: material class REF-DES: component tag QTY: quantity Part_Type:PCB package VALUE: value Tolerance: precision Description: component description Dielectric: electrolyte Voltage: withstand voltage value

2. Field title

In this column, the names of the corresponding component attribute items in the BOM table, for example:

Description: I want it to appear in the BOM table as "component name" or something else that can be changed in the corresponding location.

3. Width

This entry fully loads the character width of the contents of each attribute.

If the width is too small, PADS will automatically branch; (to facilitate the import of excel, it is best not to have branches)

If the width is too large, PADS will automatically fill in the blanks to reach the set character width

When the Properties bar is over, click the format button to enter the formatting page. (the position of the red circle is the format button)

4. After entering the "format" column, first select "Delimiter" or "comma" in the left "Delimiter".

(this option separates the attribute contents of each item in the BOM table, and is to facilitate the subsequent import of the BOM table format generated by PADS itself into our commonly used excel documents. )

The "report title" content in the report options on the right can be edited to another name accordingly, or the default name is "BillOfMaterials.rep" if not edited.

When the settings are complete, click the "OK" button below, and the settings are complete.

The report page that you just started appears.

5. Clipboard view, copy the content to Excel.

Select the include table title and copy all the contents to a blank Excel table.

Adjust the corresponding format size, table width, bill of materials and BOM production has been completed, you can also change the title to the Chinese title.
