Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--
According to CEO Huang Renxun, Nvidia is introducing a new embedded computer in its Gitzo series for developers to deploy artificial intelligence at the edge-the smallest computer in its history. The CUDA-X computer, called Jetson Nano, provides 472 gigabytes of computing power and 4GB memory and can work at 5 watts.
Gitzo Nano and Gitzo Nano Development Kit will be unveiled today at the Nvidia GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, California.
Gitzo Nano deployed artificial intelligence at the edge without an Internet connection, which was released last year after the release of the Gitzo AGXavier chip and Gitzo TX2 in 2017.
The Gitzo Nano development kit currently sells for $100, while the $129 Gitzo Mini computer for embedded devices will go on sale in June.
By comparison, Xavier retails for $1299 and TX2 for about $600.
"We brought Gitzo into the mainstream market," Nvidia vice president of Deepu Talla, an autonomous machine, said today.
The working power of Gitzo TX2 is 7.5W and the memory is 8GB, while the working power of AGX Xavier is only 10W and the memory is 32GB.
Like its predecessor, Jessen Nano will be able to work with Nvidia's more than 40 CUDA-XAI deep learning libraries.
According to Tala, the Jetson system is used for edge computing on mobile or embedded devices and is currently used by 200000 developers.
Edge computing helps to infer the capabilities of robots, drones, security cameras and many other devices that do not want to rely on Internet connections.
Nano, TX2 and AGX Xavier can use the Isaac robot engine and the IsaacGym robot simulator to create 3354 robots such as Kaya, Carter and Link robots from Nvidia. Nvidia opened a robot research lab in Seattle in January.
It was also announced today that Amazon's AWS has introduced an example driven by Tesla T4GPU, the universal availability of self-driving constellation platforms, the safety force field of self-driving cars, and the reorganization of more than 40 Nvidia deep learning libraries under the new umbrella name CUDA-XAI.
In other recent fringe machine learning news, Google unveiled TensorFlowLite1.0 at last month's TensorFlowDev summit.
