Hyper-V is a virtualization product of Microsoft. For an overview of Hyper-V, please see the Microsoft technical documentation. The deployment of Hyper-V is described in detail below.

Open Server Manager on the server where you need to deploy Hyper-V, click add roles and Features, run the add roles and Features Wizard, and click next

Select role-based or feature-based installation for installation type, and click next.

Select "Select server from server pool", select the computer name of the local server, and click "next"

Select "Hyper-V" in the server role, and pop-up "add functions required for Hyper-V?" , click "add feature"

With the Hyper-V role selected, click next

Don't worry about the function choice, just click "next"

Click "next"

Don't worry about the virtual switch. We'll create it later. Click "next".

Click "next"

The default storage location of Hyper-V is set on D disk. When it is set, click "next".

Confirm the configuration, tick "restart the target server automatically if necessary" and click "install"

Installation is under way. The server needs to be restarted to install the Hyper-V role. The server will be restarted automatically here.

Hyper-V role installation is complete, click "close"

Configure a virtual machine

Open "Server Manager"-"tools"-"Hyper-V Manager" of Hyper-V server, or click "start"-"Windows Management tools"-"Hyper-V Manager"

Open the Hyper-V Manager

Click "Hyper-V Settings" to open "Hyper-V Settings for Hyper-V"

Our settings here are as follows:

Virtual hard disk: e:\ Hyper-V\ Virtual Hard Disks

Virtual machine: e:\ Hyper-V

Physical GPU:NVIDIA GeForce 940MX

The others are rarely used, so I won't say much here. Once set up, click "OK".

Configure a virtual switch

Click Virtual switch Manager in "Hyper-V Manager" to open "Virtual switch Manager"

In the virtual switch manager, click "New Virtual Network switch", create a virtual switch type, select "external", and then click "create Virtual switch"

Set the name of the virtual switch to "Switch". Of course, you can set it here freely. Select "external Network" for the connection type, and click "OK".

This will prompt "pending changes may disconnect the network" and click "Yes" so that the virtual switch is created.
