ActiveDirectory domain how to set user login time permissions, many novices are not very clear about this, in order to help you solve this problem, the following editor will explain for you in detail, people with this need can come to learn, I hope you can gain something.

After you create a domain user account in the ActiveDirectory domain, the user automatically gets some default permissions. In many cases, the user's default permissions may not meet the administrative needs of the network administrator. Users' permissions can be set in detail in the domain controller of the ActiveDirectory domain, such as user login time, login to the computer, rights to use shared resources, and so on.

Network administrators can strengthen the management of ActiveDirectory domains by setting the time that users are allowed to log on to the domain in the domain controller (DC).

The steps to set the user login time in ActiveDirectory are as follows:

Step 1, log in to the domain controller as a system administrator and open the ActiveDirectory users and computers window. Click the Users container in the left pane, and then double-click the user name (such as ithanjiang) in the list of users in the right pane to open the ithanjiang Properties dialog box. Switch to the accounts tab and click the Login time button, as shown in figure 1.

Step 2, open the "login time for ithanjiang" dialog box. In the timeline area, each square in the horizontal axis represents an hour, and each square in the vertical axis represents a day. The blue square indicates the time that the user is allowed to use, and the blank square indicates the time that the user is prohibited from using. Users are allowed to use it at any time by default, for example, if you are ready to allow the user ithanjiang to log in to the domain at 6: 00 per day, click the "all" button on the upper left with the left button, and then select the "deny login" check box. Use the mouse to select the appropriate range of time blocks, and select the allow login radio box. Click the OK button to complete the settings, as shown in figure 2.

Tip: when the user logs in to the domain within the allowed time period and continues to use it for more than the allowed time period, the user can continue to stay connected and use. However, once the user logs out, no new connections are allowed.
