Apart from their plans for fourth-generation ARC products, the company didn't reveal much: Battlemage, Alchemist, Druid and Celestial. Intel fans quickly connected and began asking if the fifth-generation Arc series would continue to be named sequentially, as Intel later seemed to confirm. The first generation, known as alchemists, is now scheduled to go on sale in mobile devices and desktops in the second quarter of 2022.

However, there is little information about Arc Druid at present. Intel has confirmed that it will use the Xe Next architecture, hinting that it will be the first valuable successor to Xe HPG. Although the second generation of Arc "Battlemage" is expected to be released in 2023, there is no release date for Celestian and Druid.

According to Bryce, an Intel Arc community advocate and driver guru, Druid could be released in 2025.

Normally, such tweets should be reserved, but many people think that druids will be the product of 2025. Intel is just hesitant to confirm at this point; after all, we are talking about the next four generations of products.

If Druid does arrive in 2025, Intel will release its Arc GPU series every year, while its competitors will release new architectures every two years.
