Recently found that their Skype for Biusess 2015 test environment address book several days out of sync to the client, depressed ah.

So the following test operations are done:

Check the address book URL

Internal user

Https:///abs/handler

Https:///abs/handler/GroupExpansion/Service.svc

External users:

Https:///abs/handler

Https:///abs/handler/GroupExpansion/Service.svc

Test the address book service

Test-CsAddressBookService

Test-CsAddressBookWebQuery

Check AddressBookAvailability settings

Run the following command to view the address book settings.

Get-CsClientPolicy | Select-Object Identity,AddressBookAvailability | ft

Recreate the address book (client)

If the user is running Skype For Business 2016

Log out of the Lync client and delete the configuration file from% userprofile%\ appdata\ Local\ Microsoft\ Office\ 15.0\ Lync to delete the following registry key. HKCU\ Software\ Microsoft\ Office\ 16.0\ Lync\ sip@Domain.com

If the user is running Lync 2013\ Skype For Business 2015

Log out of the Lync client and delete the configuration file from% userprofile%\ appdata\ Local\ Microsoft\ Office\ 15.0\ Lync to delete the following registry key. HKCU\ Software\ Microsoft\ Office\ 15.0\ Lync\ sip@Domain.com

If the user is running Lync 2010

Log out of the Lync client and delete the configuration file from% userprofile%\ AppData\ Local\ Microsoft\ Communicator* to delete the following registry key.

* HKLM\ Software\ Policies\ Microsoft\ Communicator\ sip@Domain.com

Download the address book now

In some cases, Lync\ SFB users may face delays (up to 60 minutes) in the address book download. Create this registry key to download the address book now.

If the user is running Skype For Business 2016, run the following command

Reg add HKLM\ Software\ Policies\ Microsoft\ Office\ 16.0\ Lync / v GalDownloadInitialDelay / t REG_DWORD / d 0 / f

If the user is running Lync 2013\ Skype For Business 2015, run the following command

Reg add HKLM\ Software\ Policies\ Microsoft\ Office\ 15.0\ Lync / v GalDownloadInitialDelay / t REG_DWORD / d 0 / f

If the user is running Lync 2010, run the following command

Reg add HKLM\ Software\ Policies\ Microsoft\ Communicator / v GalDownloadInitialDelay / t REG_DWORD / d 0 / f
