Fortinet 5.0 VM64 Simulator Installation

Download the FGT_VM64-v500-build0208-FORTIN ET.out.vmware file first,

After decompression, the following error prompt will appear when you open it with vmware:

So let's set it up. Open the Virtual Machine menu and click Settings.

Then, click "Options" and select "Other Linux 3.x kernel 64 bit" under "LINUX" in "Client Operating System".

Then open the FGT_VM64-v500-build0208-FORTINET.out.vmware file with the virtual machine, and there will be no error

After the virtual machine is booted, username: admin Password: null

After the virtual machine is turned on, it is empty by default. It needs to be configured simply.

Config system infterface Enter interface configuration mode

Edit port1 Enter port submode

Set ip 10.40.97.128 255.255.255.0 Set IP address and mask of product

Set allowaccess Http telnet https ssh Set the way network management can be performed

Enter http://10.40.97.128 in the browser to enter the GUI network management interface. The VM license is 14 days.
