Last week, Microsoft released a new quick preview version of Windows 10 20H1 19025. It is reported that the Windows Search indexer function has been officially optimized and other bugs have been fixed in this 20H1 version of the system.

Now Microsoft has pushed Windows 10 20H1 Build 19025.1051 for slow preview channels.

In this version, Microsoft released an improved Windows search algorithm that can detect high disk usage and activity, better determine peak usage times, and manage indexers accordingly. Microsoft has also made changes for developers to prevent searches of certain repositories and project folders to increase disk utilization.

Fixed an issue with incorrect 0x8007000A that caused some applications to not be updated.

Fixed jitter when using magnifying glass in some multi-monitor configurations.

Fixed an issue where the mouse pointer did not start from the position of the magnifying glass viewport when the mouse pointer was moved away from the typed position.

Fixed a problem that affected users to read aloud in Outlook.

Fixed memory issues in EoAExperiences.exe.

Known problem

BattlEye and Microsoft found incompatibility issues due to operating system changes between some versions of Insider Preview and some versions of BattlEye anti-cheating software. To protect insiders who may have these versions installed on their PC, we have applied compatibility reservations to these devices to prevent affected Windows Insider Preview versions. Some insiders reported that after successfully installing the printer driver from the optional updates section, the printer driver still appears to be available for installation. We are investigating and trying to solve the problem.

We have received and are reviewing reports that stop responding and display startup codes 10 or 38 when some external USB 3.0 drives are connected.
