Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--

Intel 12 generation non-K Alder Lake CPU series specifications have been leaked and show clock and core configuration differences between unlocking and locking components. The leak is reported by Momomo_US and includes six different SKU specifications.

Intel 12th generation Alder Lake Core i9-12900, Core i7-12700, Core i5-12600, Core i5-12400 specifications leaked

As expected, Core i9 and Core i7 variants will retain the same core configuration as their "K" series siblings. The main difference is clock speed and TDP. Starting with Core i9-12900 (F), we got the same 16-core and 24-thread configuration and 30 MB L3 cache. The clock speed of P-Core has been pushed back to 2.40 GHz base clock, and the clock speed of E-Core has been returned to 1.80 GHz base clock. The maximum boost clock will be pushed back to 100 MHz to 5.1 GHz. This must be done to accommodate the lower 65W TDP and 125W (241 MTP) on the unlocking SKU.

Intel Core i7-12700 (F) will also be equipped with 12 cores, 20 threads and a 25 MB L3 cache. The clock speed of the P-Core is set back to 2.10 GHz, the clock speed of the E-Core is set back to 1.60 GHz, and the maximum boost clock on the 65W TDP is 4.90 GHz. Next we have Core i5 variants which see the most significant changes in the form of non-hybrid designs.

Both Intel Core i5-12600 and Core i5-12400 use 6-core and 12-thread designs and contain only Golden Cove (P core). Both chips will be equipped with an 18 MB L3 cache with clock rates of 3.30 GHz and 2.50 GHz, respectively. Both chips will be equipped with 65W TDP, and it will be interesting to see how these chips compare to AMD's Ryzen 55600X, because they are aimed at the same market segment. The Intel Non-K Alder Lake series is expected to be launched in early 2022 and will include B660 and more mainstream motherboard options for budget PC manufacturers to choose from.
