At 12:00, the long-term agreement between Netflix and BBC expires. But a source close to Netflix told me that Netflix is actually in talks with the BBC to ensure that even if the show is not renewed immediately before February 1, an agreement is likely to be reached within months, even a few weeks after the February deadline. They commented that the deal could even completely block any deletions (similar to the recent slobs incident, which has been extended for at least a month). Contract negotiations are likely to be a renewal of the BBC package, so your show is likely to reappear in front of fans of the less popular BBC show.
