Due to the vmware cluster upgrade, it is necessary to migrate the data from the old cluster storage to the new cluster storage, requiring hot migration, as much as possible without business interruption, or short-term interruption.

There are several ways to do this:

1. Cascade two sets of SAN switches so that the hosts of the two platforms can see each other's storage. (some SAN switches do not support interconnection with foreign switches, such as Chaochao 5800. The models supported are Tide 5610, Brocade switch, etc.)

2. Use a server for storage transfer.

3. Use the SAN switch to connect directly to the other party's storage controller.
