ReportServices as a report server, combined with sql direct access to the database to provide the basic report format display, you can quickly develop reports, mainly including two parts:

1.ReportServices server configuration and running platform for hosting reports

two。 Design report

ReportServices configuration

1. Enter report Service Manager

two。 Assign the port number of the Web service URL and apply it. Note: TargetServerURL should be used in post-design deployment.

3. Create a ReportServer database and apply it (ReportServer database is the basic database for ReportService runtime to create by default)

4. Configure report Manager URL and apply

two。 Right-click the report to add a new report (here is the boot setting), or you can right-click to add item-by-item data sources and reports

3. Display output columns and input parameters in the report data source on the right after you finish adding. Complete the report table design with the toolbox and drag the fields to the appropriate location

4. After completing the report design, right-click the project-> property to set it.

5. After entering the properties interface, pay attention to the configuration of bold font. TargetServerURL is the web service URL in the Report Service configuration.

6. After configuration, right-click the project to select deployment. If you modify the data source or report separately, you can also right-click a single deployment.

1. Visit the webUrl address to see the report home directory (this example: http://dev-pc:8099/ReportServer)
