I. settings on the server side

The type of FTP currently used is: wu-ftp

Vsftp

II. Operation of the client: log in to the ftp server ftp ip

Ftp > get backup0 download the backup0 file, which is placed under the login file by default

Ftp >! dir executes local commands to see what files are available locally

Ftp > put conifg.sys upload this file

Ftp > lcd windows change to the windows directory under the local directory

Ftp > mput * .ini upload a batch of files

Ftp > ascii enters ascii transfer mode. Ascii does not transfer control characters, and graphics and image files may not be opened.

Ftp > binary enters binary transfer mode, and binary transmits ascii characters plus control characters

Ftp > bell start the ring switch

Ftp > open 192.168.1.110 Log in to the ftp server at this IP address

Ftp > bye logout login

When ftp logs in, first establish the connection, then establish the session and re-establish the connection.

3. Class command

Real (actual user)

Anonymous: it is not available by default. You need to create a ftp user in the system. The active area is only under your own home directory.

Guestuser: if the scope of activity is limited to your own home directory, you can set a user to guest as follows:

Cd / etc/ftpd

Vi ftpaccess sets guestuser zyl

Limit command: used to limit the number of times a user logs in

Limit {user group name} {headcount time period} {prompt message}

Ftpwho to see which users have logged in

Limit-time: used to limit the time a user can have a session, only for anonymous users and guest users

/ welcom.msg

Message command: used to display welcome information when a user logs in or switches

/ actual user / welcom.msg

/ Guest user's own directory / welcom.msg

Home directory of / anoymous ftp / welcom.msg
