There are three types of packages that can be generated, corresponding to different situations:

A-the loosest component package suitable for non-professional welding engineers

B-universal, the size of the package is smaller than loose, so it is suitable for manual welding by professional welders.

C-the most compact and smallest package size, suitable for machine welding.

It is best to set the generated packaging requirements before using the "package generator" to generate the package: tools-- Properties-- Common settings.

If you want your PCB board to be as small and crammed with as many components as possible, you should use the "C-most compact" package, and either you practice your welding skills or you hire a professional company to weld the board.

In fact, the package generated by the package generator also has bedbugs (bug). It does not refer to the error of chip length, width, height, and so on, because these parameters can be set. The pin number of some packages does not match the actual one, so it is necessary to modify the pin number of the package. That's what happened to me today. The TSOP package of IS61LV256 is as follows:

IS61LV256's 1 foot is in the center, turning counterclockwise to 28 feet.

1 foot sign in the lower left corner, pin number (pin number) can not be seen clearly, you can see the pin number clearly through the following ways.

Setup / drawing option / display / filled pads

Cancel filled pads, turn off the fill pad option, and you can see the middle pin number.

Click Edit-Text or menu bar

Then select 1 in the command bar and enter 22 to change the pin number

Select 1, enter 22, and enter enter

To reconfirm, click on the menu bar.

Select only Pin (as long as you take care of the foot Pin).

Click the Pin you want to see (the first pin on the left)
