First switch from its own branch to the master_team branch: git checkout master_team update master_team branch: git pull then switch back to its own branch: git checkout yinyongjie_dev merges the master branch into its own branch: git merge master_team

Remove git checkout changes that are not needed locally-- file name

For example: git checkout-- pom.xml [remove modifications to the pom.xml file] at each step of the operation, use git status to see the current status and prompt what to do next.
