As they say, beauty is in the eyes of onlookers, but few people find it difficult to call the latest Pixel phone beautiful. It is true that they have their own characteristics in some ways, but some people may wish this year's competition would be different. Unfortunately, Pixel 6 won't change until later this year, at least based on the Pixel 5a leak, we may experience some familiar behavior that may confuse some consumers in the long run.

Last year, three Pixel models were launched: Pixel 4a, Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. Despite the name, Pixel 4a 5G actually has more in common with Pixel 5. It is not Pixel 4a, but a larger version of Pixel 5. Now it seems that Google wants to be confused with Pixel 5a, which is almost no different from Pixel 4a 5G.

According to Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks, the Pixel 5a with a 6.2inch flat screen will be a fatal blow to the Pixel 4a 5G, but it is thicker. There's a chin at the bottom and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Visually at least, everything is almost the same.

It does show that Pixel 5a will also have favorite features, such as headphone jacks. The two cameras can also be the same, so they are the same in pixels 4a, 5G, and 5.

This does raise the question of what differences, if any, will exist in Pixel 5a. Of course you can't tell from 3D rendering, but we really want to have at least some upgraded specifications. Otherwise, the phone may be meaningless.
