Source code description:

The source code of all centos 7 components is on https://git.centos.org/, and all other SRPM is automatically generated when compiling binary packages, and SRPM packages are stored in the corresponding directory of vault.centos.com. Compared with binary RPMs, source RPMs consumes much less bandwidth, so we don't put the source packet in the primary mirror network. If users want to mirror the content, they can use the reposync feature provided in the yum-utils package, where all SRPM packages and the corresponding binary source packages are signed with the same key.

Upgrade instructions:

This release replaces everything that was released before centos 7, and it is strongly recommended that all users upgrade to the latest version.

Some known issues:

1. SElinux has made major changes in version 7. 3, which may destroy some existing functions.

2. The initramfs file is obviously much larger than 7.2.If the size of the / bootf partition is less than 400MB, it is recommended to uninstall some kernels to ensure sufficient space. If the system is newly installed, it is recommended that the boot partition be set to 1GB.

At least 1024MB memory is required for centos 7.3.If LiveGNOME or LiveKDE is installed, at least 1344MB memory is required.

4. If the screen resolution is 800x600 or below during installation, some pictures will be cropped and displayed.

5. Ifconfig/netstat and other tools have been abandoned for a long time. Since version 7.3, the core group will no longer install the net-tools package by default. If you really want to use these commands, you need to install the net-tools package yourself.
