There are many factors that affect order allocation:

Shelf life, etc.: in general, considering the shelf life requirements, there will be first-in, first-out or first-expired first-out.

Allocable location: if the chemical products have special requirements for the storage environment of the warehouse or have a special sorting location, the goods will be distributed from the special location or sorting location.

Quality status: the quality status of the product determines whether the product can be sold. In general, only Class A (qualified) can be used for delivery, but due to the relativity of the quality level, some customers Q (to be inspected) or R (returned or scrapped) can also be used for other sales. For example, in a battery manufacturer, the company's Class Q inventory can be sold directly to low-end domestic mobile phone manufacturers (because the company's battery performance indicators: rated capacity, voltage, internal resistance, discharge rate, etc.). For example, the expired inventory of some food enterprises can also be sold to other qualified enterprises for the production of animal feed.

Batch number: first-in, first-out, first-expiration, first-out is a more common batch number allocation rule. Special orders may also require a single batch or a complete packing unit, and unpacking is not allowed.

Unit of measurement: give priority to the allocation of inventory according to the document units on the customer's order, such as 50 cans of paint requested by the customer, we generally do not give priority to the barreled inventory.

Product specifications: considering the unpacking cost, we generally give priority to assigning products with small specification coefficient to customers, such as pharmaceutical companies, customers require 100 boxes of drugs, we only have 90 boxes, then the remaining 10 boxes, we will give priority to send a box = 10 boxes of goods to customers, rather than a box = 20 boxes of unpacked and then sent to customers.
