1. New canvas

First of all, we have to build a new canvas, the right column is the size, everyone's units should be optimistic, here I choose pixels, PS commonly used units. Width and height can be adjusted according to the demand. Remember that the canvas is not too big or too small. If it is too small, it will paste. If it is too big, your PS will be stuck.

Also have to talk about our resolution, remember to change it to 300, because this is the clearest, the default is 70 is very paste, the general designer to see the effect and worry about pirating images will send this.

two。 Be familiar with toolbars

Now your PS interface is out, and on the left is the toolbar with a variety of window options.

Our Adobe is very powerful, not to say that a tool on a usage, right-click any icon on the toolbar, there will be several options, left-click is the choice. PS has a good feature. As long as you hover your mouse over any tool on the toolbar, he will tell you the name of the tool, so don't worry about choosing the wrong tool.

The move tool can drag the selected layer or select the target, etc. Another way to adjust the position of the image is the upper and lower keys on the keyboard, using the premise that you choose the move tool. On the question of selection, we can see that there are four box icons at the bottom of the file editor, which is very useful. By clicking on these tools, we can quickly select the area we need.

The lasso tool is also one of the tools to create a selection, the lasso needs to draw a range with the mouse, the polygonal lasso is similar to the broken line, and the magnetic lasso is suitable for matting with clear edges. He can distinguish colors by himself, which is the laziest choice tool.

The Magic Wand tool is super easy to use, and combining it with the four selection boxes I mentioned above is an artifact. First of all, magic wand matting is controlled by color and tolerance. if the color difference is big, we enlarge the tolerance, the color difference is small, and reduce the tolerance. Of course, if there is little difference, you'd better not use the magic wand. We have other tools, but the magic wand is the quickest choice tool.

Cropping tools do not say much, cropping the size of the image, very simple.

The eyedropper tool absorbs the color, it can absorb the color in the picture. Can also be matting, into the color range, will automatically appear straw, suck which color, then all the colors in the screen will be selected, can be said to be the most intelligent selection tool.

Repair tool this is used to grind the face, circle the moles and pimples, and then pull them to a clean place for cosmetic success! Of course I'm just giving an example, and you can do something else with it.

When the brush tool is selected, right-click to change the hardness and other things, PS painting will use, of course, you can also use to repair the projection of the picture and so on.

Imitation stamp and Alt key combination, restore artifact, such as the window is blocked by a tree, you want to block the part of it out, you need to copy the stamp, will need to copy the part of the Alt, carefully smeared it.

History brush to restore some parts of the picture to the previous state, I personally think it is useless, painting it will be gone, not as good as historical records.

Eraser to wipe off the unwanted, you can change the transparency, do a great effect.

Paint bucket fill color, select color in the lower right corner, gradient tool is used to do gradient effect.

The blur tool is used to blur the image, but we rarely use it, generally into the filter to do the effect.

Deepen the tool to deepen or dilute the color, believe me, do not order too much, too much is as ugly and unnatural as heavy makeup.

Pen tool matting artifact is the most omnipotent selection tool. You can use it to pick anything, as long as you are not afraid of tiredness, we usually use it to pick objects with regular edges and curve broken lines. After digging out a complete pen frame, right-click to make a selection.

The top row of the text tool has options such as font and size of the text.

The rectangle tool is used in the same way as a check box, but it is a graphic, not a check box.

Hand tools are really useless. Generally, we press and hold the Alt wheel to zoom in and out.

At this point, remember to save Ctrl+S, or enter the file-storage.

3. Layer understanding

Layers are a good thing, especially in PS, which is essential for grouping fine-tuning.

What is the layer? In fact, it is equivalent to a piece of paper, each layer exists independently, and the upper layer can cover the lower layer. As shown in the picture, I now draw a rectangle on each layer. As soon as the layer is on it, the rectangle can cover the second.

Is there any way to put layer two on layer one? It's simple, just drag the layer. We can see that the adjustment of the layer creates the adjustment of the picture, which is convenient and easy to use.

4. Layer gadget

We can see that there is a small eye icon on the left side of the layer, this is the visible button, click on it and the layer will not be visible. It can be used when previewing other layer effects or merging visible layers.

There is a lock tool next to the fill, which can lock the layer. It is important to note that we have to select the layer first. This tool can be used to prevent unwanted content from being mistakenly selected when editing the screen.

The bottom layer is the layer style, and so on, fx has projection luminous these options, do stereoscopic effect is very good. The Mask tool acts like an eraser and can be used for matting. I won't talk about the rest of the new layer and delete options, as soon as you look at them.

Tips

Sometimes we make mistakes, and we need a shortcut key. Ctrl+S returns to the previous step, but the return of PS can only return one step. To return to more steps, go to the history and click on the tool you want to return.
