Just yesterday, Honor announced that it will launch its next-generation X-series smartphone at a domestic marketing event on July 23. In this series, the company will launch Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro phones at events. Both smartphones will be launched last year as successors to the Honor 8X. Before unveiling, the upcoming phones have recently been the target of numerous vulnerabilities and reports. The Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro specifications have been leaked. Now, in addition to the so-called renderings of the latter, illustrations of the former have surfaced online. In addition, the company confirmed a key specification for the Honor 9X.

First, in terms of confirmation features, Honor announced that it will launch the Glory 9X and the recently launched Kirin 810 processor. A few weeks ago, the new SoC was unveiled as the company's second 7nm chipset. The processor debuted on Huawei Nova 5 series smartphones. The Kirin 810 is an eight-core SoC consisting of six Cortex-A55 cores and two Cortex-A76 cores with a clock speed of 2.27GHz.

As for the schematic, Evan Blass shared a photo,[email protected], showing that the Honor 9X will feature a pop-up selfie camera. The sensor will protrude from the top edge on the left. The back of the full-screen product appears to have two cameras placed vertically. Although it is not clear from the photo, the fingerprint sensor of the smartphone can be placed at the bottom or side of the screen. It is worth noting that the leak rendering of Honor 9X Pro shows the same design as the schematic.

There is no word yet on pricing and availability of Honor 9X and 9X Pro smartphones. We will provide official details in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
