Press the shortcut key ctrl+p to pop up a small window, enter the file name in the input box above, and click on a file in the drop-down box

When searching, it is case-insensitive and matches multiple parts of the file name. For example, if you search do, you can match the file DBconfig.js.

Pressing ctrl+shift+p or F1 also opens the search box, but pressing F1 opens the search box with search commands. When the > symbol is removed, it is the search box for searching for file names
