Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--

Many people do not read English when reloading, and go back to the car all the time, resulting in the loss of data during reinstallation, leaving only a C disk after reloading. A few days ago, when I was using U disk GHOST to restore the system, I was going to restore the GHOST image to C disk, but I accidentally chose "Disk- → From Imag" and GHOST went to the entire hard disk. After rebooting the computer, the original partitions are all put together and there is only one? Is there any way to get the previous data back? Don't worry, the GHOST image system is generally smaller than the capacity of the original C disk, that is to say, it only writes to the location of the original C disk, not to other partitions. As long as the corrupted partition table is restored, the problem can be solved.

Here is a comparison between the correct and wrong reinstallation methods

1 restart to enter the DOS interface and run Ghost.exe to enter the GHOST interface and enter enter

2 enter the GHOST operation interface as shown in the figure

Operate here

Select menu to Local (native)-Partition (partition)-From Image (correct)

To put it more popularly, 1-2-3 first select 1, then pop-up option 2 and then pop-up option 3.

If we choose Local (native)-Disk (hard drive)-From Imae (wrong)

Then GHOST will naturally think that we are going to restore the image file to the hard disk, so after GHOST reinstallation, we will only see a very large C disk.

After reinstallation, it is found that there is only one C disk left, and the data of other disks can be fully recovered. One thing to keep in mind is that although the data of other disks can be recovered in the current situation, the previous data is unprotected, and as long as any file is saved to disk C, the previous data may be destroyed. The more files you write, the less you can recover.

GHOST only C disk how to recover, GHOST only C disk, reinstall only C disk, only C disk left, GHOST only C disk, reinstall only one C disk, GHOST reinstall data recovery, only C disk data recovery
