# introduction to hash

In memcached, we often package some structured information into hashmap, which is serialized and stored as a string value on the client side (usually in json format), such as the user's nickname, age, gender, points, and so on.

# Common commands

> hset hash2 name dang # create hash

(integer) 1

> hget hash2 name

"dang"

> hset hash2 age 30

(integer) 1

> hget hash2 age

"30"

> HGETALL hash2

1) "name"

2) "dang"

3) "age"

4) "30"

> hmset user2 name dang age 30 job it # batch creation of hash key-value pairs

OK

> hmget user2 name age job

1) "dang"

2) "30"

3) "it"

> hdel user2 job # Delete the specified field

(integer) 1

> hkeys user2 # print all key

1) "name"

2) "age"

> hvals user2 # print all values

1) "dang"

> hlen user2 # check the number of field of hash
