Failure phenomenon:

The following failure occurred when running root.sh on new node while Oracle 11gR2 RAC was adding a new node:

Problem analysis:

With regard to this issue, there is a description of the problem on [ID 1068212.1] on Meatlink, and it also makes it clear that it is caused by bug 8670579, and it is not publicly disclosed, saying that it does not know the new AMD chip.

But in this environment, the host uses Intel CPU, so it should have nothing to do with AMD cpu.

Check the system environment of the new node (node3) again and find that:
