Oracle RAC Study--Delete VOTE DISK

Environment:

Operating system: AIX 5300-09

Cluster Software: CRS 10.2.0.1

Database: Oracle 10.2.0.1

Building RAC on AIX platforms can be divided into two ways depending on how shared storage is used:

1. Establish shared storage based on concurrent volume groups (VG concurrent)

2. Establish RAW shared storage based on ASM

As shown below:

This case is for VG Concurrent based shared storage:

After adding vote disk, the following error occurred after the host was restarted and CRS service failed to start: [root@aix211: /]#crsctl query css votedisk 0. 0 /dev/rrac_vote 1. 0 0 2. 0 0 3. 0 0 4. 0 0 5. 0 0located 6 votedisk(s).
