Preparatory work:

One router (this example uses Huawei routing WS5200 and supports IPv6)

A network cable

A computer

First, check with the operator whether your broadband network in your area is covered by IPv6 network, or log in to the Web management page of the router to view it and click on more functions-router information-to view IPv6 network information.

Second, configure IPv6 in the router, click more functions-Network Settings-IPv6-enable IPv6-click Save.

Configure the computer local connection, open the control panel-all control panel items-network and sharing center-- click the local connection-properties-check Internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6)-click OK.

4. In the Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) properties window, select to automatically obtain the IPv6 and DNS server addresses, and click OK.

5. View native IPv6 and DNS address information

Verify that the local IPv6 address is available (it can be used normally after verification, as shown in the figure)
