3. Add whitelist

Ngrok issued an announcement that reads as follows:

To prevent abuse of the service, you need to apply to add a domain name whitelist when using the ngrok service, and access to domain names without whitelist will be restricted (you can enter the account number: ngrok, password: 8nad4cjqh4z8 for temporary access).

To apply for ngrok whitelist, please send email to 10086@xiaoi.me. The subject is always: apply to add ngrok whitelist.

The format of the message is:

Domain name: xxx (for example: dev123)

Purpose: xxx (for example: for Wechat development docking)

Contact information: xxx (e.g. QQ 229323989)

If you encounter other problems, you can communicate through the group, or you can give feedback through email.

So, if we want to use ngrok, we need to send an email to the above mailbox to add your custom domain name to the whitelist

4. Use

After decompressing, we get four files, all of which don't matter. Focus on the README.txt file. After reading it, you will basically use it, which probably means:

Ngrok-config ngrok.cfg-subdomain asurplus 8080

Replace the above content in start.bat, where [asurplus] is your custom domain name and [8080] is your project port. Double-click the start.bat file to launch.

As shown in the figure, after a successful startup, you can get two access addresses:

Http://asurplus.4kb.cn

Https://asurplus.4kb.cn

It is convenient to support http protocol and https protocol. For example, https protocol is needed for development in WeChat Mini Programs.
