This course is the first lesson in oracle development. Let's start with the preparation of the environment.

1: download and install oracle

Please log on to the following web page to download the installation file

Https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/index.html

You can choose 11G or 12C according to the situation. At present, my environment is 11G, as shown in the figure.

After downloading 2 files, extract them in the same directory, and be careful that the directory name does not have special characters such as Chinese and spaces. Double-click the setup.exe file after unzipping.

1) configure security updates. Email can be written or not, cancel the following "I want to accept security updates through My Oracle Support (W)", as shown in the following figure, click next

2) installation options. Directly select the default create and configure Database

3) system class. Since we are installing a server, we choose Server Class

4) Grid installation options. Select single instance Database installation

5) installation type. Select Advanced installation

6) Database version. Select Enterprise Edition

7) Database identifier. Fill in the global database name and SID (this input must be remembered for later use)

8) configuration options. Switch to the character set tab and select use Unicode (AL32UTF8)

9) Scheme password. For ease of testing, the same password is used here

10) install the product. After the installation is completed, a list of relevant database configurations will be listed. It is best to save this screenshot, as shown in the following figure. Click OK.

11) Test it. Open the SQL PLUS that comes with Oracle

12) enter the user name and password, and the test is successful! Note that the password entered here is not displayed
