I recently encountered this error when creating a DAG when setting up an environment for Exchange 2016:

Looking for relevant information, found that this problem is really quite strange ah, unexpectedly caused by the lack of a value, as shown in the figure: open Active Directory users and computers. Open View > Advanced Features. Locate your DAG computer name in the AD structure, and then right-click > Properties

You can see that the DNS name is missing from my DAG computer account. Go to the attribute Editor tab.

Edit the attribute "dNSHostName" to fill in the missing information: (dag1.xxx.xxx)

Now try adding the computer to DAG again.

Unexpectedly, it was successfully added:
