Second, the initial inspection scheme and process of the server

Based on the communication with the customer, make the following judgment:

Fault performance: customer equipment is H3C FlexStorage P5730, a total of 21 2T capacity hard drives, create a set of RAID 5, including a hot spare hard drive.

In one operation, the customer deleted the original two volumes in the storage, the sizes were 5T and 6T, respectively, and after the deletion was completed, the customer recreated a 16T volume. After the rebuild is complete, you want to recover the data in the deleted 5T volume.

H3C FlexStorage P5730 storage supports streamlining, snapshots and other functions. Customers do not write data after deleting and rebuilding the volume. If the storage itself does not initialize the new volume after the volume is rebuilt, the data should be preserved more intact. In addition, because there is no detection of the bottom layer of the storage hard disk, it is impossible to judge whether the relevant map information is also cleared after the volume is deleted. If the map information remains, there is a chance to recover the deleted volume completely. If the map information is cleared, the deleted volume cannot be completely recovered. We can only try to restore the data in the deleted volume by fragment splicing.
