1. For the first time to install mininet, the premise is clean Ubuntu

Step 1: set up the experimental environment and install the Ubuntu14.041 system on VBOX or VMware

Step 2: CTRL + ART + T enters the terminal interface of Linux, and then switches to administrator privileges (sudo-s)

Step 3: update the software, apt-get update and apt-get upgrade

Step 4: install git,apt-get install git

Step 5: get the mininet source code from github. After the git clone git://github.com/mininet/mininet; is obtained, check the current mininet version, cd mininet cat INSTALL.

Step 6: install mininet,mininet/util/install.sh

Full installation of install.sh-a # # (installed in the home directory by default)

Install.sh-s mydir-a # # complete installation (installed in another directory)

Install.sh-nfv # # install Mininet+ user switch + OVS (installed in the home directory)

Install.sh-s mydir-nfv # # install Mininet+ user switch + OVS (installed in another directory)

Step 7: test whether mininet is installed successfully, mn-- test pingall

Note: if mininet is installed, you need to uninstall it first
