When we install the system of windows 2008 R2, we will encounter hard drives larger than 2T. By default, we can only recognize 2T hard drives, while hard drives larger than 2T can not be recognized, which is a waste. The following methods are provided and summarized here for reference only:

Prepare before installation:

1. Make the USB disk into a Chinese cabbage boot disk and copy the unzipped windows 2008 R2 installation file

2. Adjust bios to enable uefi startup mode

3. Press F8, select USB disk to start, and select UEFI USB disk to start.

4. Press shift+F10 to call out

Diskpart

List disk lists the current hard drive

Select disk=0 selects the hard drive on which you want to install the system

If clean empties it, it will erase all data, so be careful.

Convert gpt is converted from OK to gpt.

In the partition section, it is shown that it can be partitioned, which proves its success.

5. Install windows2008R2 system.
