Preface

Installation steps

On the home page, you need to have a CVM, Aliyun, Tencent Cloud and so on. You can also use a free vps from abroad, any one of which is fine. You can only use the ASF hanging card, and you can control it with the lowest configuration.

I installed the original CentOS 7.064 bit, and the putty-0.65 FTP tool used by the SSH tool uses WinSCP, which I personally think is the most convenient and easy to use tool on win.

Install .NET Core

Since ASF3.0 is based on. Net core development, we will install it. After SSH connects to the server, enter the command:

Sudo rpm-- import https://packages.microsoft.com/keys/microsoft.asc

Sudo yum update

Install ArchiSteamFarm

ASF needs to go to the release page of ArchiSteamFarm's github to download the latest release. ASF-linux-x64 is used here, and put it locally after download. Open the ftp tool and copy ArchiSteamFarm to a file on your server, such as under the opt file:

Open the SSH tool and cd to your installation directory, such as mine

Cd / opt/ASF

To increase permissions on the ASF tool, enter the command directly:

Chmod + x ArchiSteamFarm

Use ArchiSteamFarm

Before using it, we can edit its config folder, which contains the settings for your asf. If you have used 2.0 before, you can directly overwrite the config file in 2.0. If this is the first time to use it, it is recommended to use the official web version of bot editing page to set up. Click to enter the web version to set up the page as follows:

Take a Name, which can be your nickname or any other robot you want to name. Please avoid spaces and can be used as a word separator. Turn on the Enabled switch. If you use Steam Parental PIN to unlock your account, please put it into Parental PIN. Write the name of the Steam account you used to log in to Steam Login (optional). Write the Steam password you used to log in to Steam Password (optional). Now click the Download button and if you have completed a new BotName.json file correctly, it will be downloaded. Locate the file and place it in the config directory (in the ASF directory). I named my robot Main, so the downloaded file was named Main.json.

Of course, you can also edit its json file directly, which is also very simple.

After the asf setting is complete, we use screen to open a new window. If you do not need to install screen, please enter the following command to install it:

Yum-y install screen

After installation, we open the window.

/ / Open a window named asf, or type screen directly to open the window screen-s asf

Then start asf

. / ArchiSteamFarm

Note that if you are prompted with no permissions when turned on, please review the steps above and use the chmod command to weight.
