Blog posts are launched on 51cto and CSDN at the same time

System environment:

Operating system: Windows XP (64)

Software: PL/SQL Devoloper 8.04

After normal installation of the software, the following errors occurred during use:

Log in through scott user

The above error occurred

The connection via sqlplus is normal:

Sqlplus can connect normally.

Tnsnames configuration is normal

After multi-party search, the reasons are:

Specific reason: 64-bit win7 will install 32-bit applications to the Program Files (x86) directory by default, and those two parentheses may upset oracle. Change the installation path to a more "popular" path, remove the "()" of the installation directory, change it to [Program Files x86] reinstall PLSQL, and connect to the database again, all problems are solved, and you can log in and OK.

Everything is caused by the 64-bit system!

Default installation path

Solution:

After uninstalling the software, reinstall it to a non-default path (for example: d:\ program), solve the problem, and log in normally!
