It has been 3425 days since Android's first version 1. 0 was released on September 23, 2008. After almost 10 years of development, Android is finally about to usher in Android P with version 9.0.

­as the basis of all Android phones, native Android has undergone great changes during this period. The function is more and more comprehensive and easier to use, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

­as a long-time user of native Android, I'm going to discuss what else Android 9.0 needs to add or improve.

­add a long screenshot

­I believe that many users have come across situations where they want to intercept content that is only one line longer than the length of a screen and take two pictures. If there is a scrolling screenshot function, the user can capture all the content into one picture, which is much more convenient.

­I know that many manufacturers of customized Android have scrolling screenshots, and native Android can achieve similar features by installing APP. But who doesn't want native systems to have their own scrolling screenshots? Especially when the quality of third-party APP screenshots is not good.

­improve the BYOD file manager

­like computers, Android has always allowed users to manage files on their phones, but Android doesn't have its own file manager. Fortunately, native Android has been added to its own file manager since 6.0 marshmallow.

­BYOD file manager is much simpler than third-party APP, and it has all the features, including local and network disk file management. But there are no shortcuts.

­to open the built-in file manager, the user needs to go to Settings, click Save, wait for the stored data to be read, and then click File.

­such a tedious step is simply anti-human. This problem still exists in the latest Android 8.1. It is hoped that Google will add a shortcut similar to the "File Manager" APP icon in future versions.
