Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

For virtual machines in Azure, drive C is 127 gigabytes by default, and drive D is a temporary disk (data cannot be stored). So if you want to store data, you need to add another disk. This article describes how to add disks to a virtual machine (Windows VM) in Azure.

First log in to the Azure Administration portal page and select the virtual machine to which you want to add disks

Click Attach

Click Attach Empty Disk

After entering the disk size (min. 1G, max. 1023G), select Host Cache Preferences

Add complete, then log in to the virtual machine via Remote Desktop and open Computer Management

You can see the newly attached disk, initialize it, and then create the partition according to the wizard.
