Reinstall OS on the database server. If the computer name and IP remain the same, you only need to keep the / U01 directory (this directory contains all oracle software and database files). After installation, root users can perform $ORACLE_HOME/root.sh without the need to perform cloning.

The OS version can be inconsistent before and after the redo, for example, it was originally centos6.5 and centos6.8 was reinstalled.

Before OS reinstallation

Backup OS related files / etc/sysctl.conf, / etc/security/limits.conf, / etc/hosts, / etc/rc.d/rc.local, / etc/fstab, / etc/resolv.conf

1.2.backup DB related files / etc/oratab, / home/oracle/.bash_profile

1.3.backing up crontab-l information under root

1.4.backing up crontab-l information under oracle

After OS is reinstalled

2.1. overwrite all the files backed up above (except / etc/oratab)

2.2. Overwrite the crontab information back

2.3.Create oracle users and corresponding groups dba, oinstall

2.4.Mount the U01 directory. Ll can see that the user corresponding to the U01 directory file is oracle and the group is dba or oinstall.

Root executes $ORACLE_HOME/root.sh, which generates the ora files under / etc/oratab and / usr/local/bin, and overwrites the generated / etc/oratab with the backed-up / etc/oratab

2.6. Start the database

If the disk corresponding to the u01 directory is formatted

Before OS reinstallation: use root to package U01 (oracle users cannot package nmb, nmo and nmhs files)

After OS reinstallation: use oracle to extract the package, and then use root users to assign special permissions to nmb, nmo and nmhs files.
