vCenter is the underlying physical architecture core of the vSphere solution, providing access control, performance monitoring, and configuration capabilities, and centralizing resources across multiple ESXi hosts so they are shared across VMs across the datacenter. vCenter is a service that acts as a central administrator for network-connected ESXi hosts.

Install Deployment vCenterer

I. Experimental environment

own real machine as a client.

1. First turn off the firewall of the DC/DNS (benet.com) server

2. Both the real machine and virtual machine are located on the same network segment DNS points to DNS servers.

Install a higher version of flash

SQL Server

I installed sql server on DC/DNS (benet.com) server without explaining too much here

1. SQL Server Configuration Manager

(1) Start Menu Find SQL Server Configuration Manager

(2) Select SQL Server Service

(3) Modify the first four items on the right according to the following configuration

Change startup mode to automatic in service

(5) Then modify the SQL Server network configuration to change TCP/IP to enabled

(6) Replace "No" with "Yes" in the column marked "Enabled" in the column marked All IP addresses

2. Configuring SQL server management studio

(1) Find SQL server management studio in the Start menu bar

(2) Modify authentication

(3) Administrators and passwords using vCenter Server database

(4) Administrators and passwords using vCenter Server database

(5) Enter the name of the database and enter OK.

3. Configure Data Source (0DBC)

(1)Find the Admin Tools Configuration Data Source (0DBC) in the Start menu bar

(2) Select System DSN and click Add

Select SQL Server Native Client

(4)Add a name and description (as needed) and select the server name

(5) Enter administrator and password for vCenter Server database

(6) Change the default database to a previously created database (vc)

(7) Select to perform character data translation

(8) Click on the test data source (test success)

3. installing vCenter Server

(1) Insert CD

Enter the vCenter single sign-on administrator password configured above

Change the vcenter server http port to avoid conflicts

Enter the vCenter single sign-on administrator password configured above

Install Vsphere wed client

All the way to the next step

Enter the vCenter single sign-on administrator password configured above

configure real machine

1. Run web vclient

(1)Enter in the browser

(2)Click below the page

(3)Close Web Download

When installing, you can do the next step all the way

(4)Enter URL at the next time

(5)Enter VCenter server administrator user and password

2. Settings Management vCenter server

new data centers

Enter the database name (just write it according to your requirements)

Find the database built above in the data center

Enter Data Center Operations Add Host

Enter the IP of esxi-a and esxi-b and add them in turn

Enter esxi-a and esxi-b administrator and password

Add it all the way to the next step

Once created, you can manage virtual machines
