Xshell key authentication

The secret key authentication principle of xshell is the same as that of putty, but the operation is different.

Open xshell and click the tools option in the menu bar, and select "New user key Generation Wizard" from the drop-down menu.

Keep the default and click next.

See that the public key pair has been successfully generated and click next.

Set the name of the key, set the password for the key, and then click next.

Copy the public key to the clipboard.

Without closing the key window shown above, open putty and edit the authorized_keys file in putty before pasting.

[root@localhost ~] # mkdir / root/.ssh

[root@localhost ~] # chmod 700 / / root/.ssh

[root@localhost ~] # vi / root/.ssh/authorized_keys

After entering the configuration file, press the "I" key to change to edit mode, and then right-click and paste.

(the key of putty needs to be distinguished from that of xshell),

After editing the key, save and exit.

Then click finish.

Click close.

Click the file open icon at the top left, and click Properties in the pop-up window.

Click user Authentication.

Confirm that there is no problem with the above information, and then click OK

Click the link.

When the xshell key configuration is complete, you can see that there is an extra window, which is the key window.
