­to improve login security, Firefox 60 will also support web authorization, allowing users to use USB tokens to authenticate their favorite sites. In addition, Firefox 60 enables IT administrators to customize Firefox deployments in an enterprise environment through a new policy engine.

­Firefox 60 will be the next ESR (extended support version) branch of Mozilla, replacing the current Firefox 52 ESR series, which means that this version will discard older add-ons. Firefox 52 ESR will be discontinued on August 28th, 2018.
