Installation steps 1. Windows installation and configuration of network file system 1.1 open server manager, expand the role tab, click file services, file services installed after the completion of the system installation, if not click the role tab to add.

1.3 Set up nfs sharing

Select the folder you want to share, right-click to enter Properties

Enter Properties and you will find that there is one more NFS share. Click Enter, as shown in Figure 1.8.

Click the Manage NFS Shares button

In NFS Advanced Sharing, you can see the interface shown in Figure 1.10. Check the option "Share this folder" and set the share name yourself.

Since it is shared to aix, choose to allow unmapped users unix access

Click the permissions button to access folder permissions settings

Enter NFS share permissions settings, we can set the access type of the shared folder, while allowing root directory access

Apply settings when settings are complete

After setting the properties, we found that the folder has been shared, and the sharing path is

"Server name: /shared directory", which is the path to mount under aix

After installing the network file system, we can view the shared directory under the windows command line, command nfsshare,

We can also mount the file system as we did under aix

2. mount windows shared directory under Aix 2.1 /etc/hosts file Add shared host IP address and host name

2.2 Now we can mount the path we just shared from windows, exactly the same way as aix. Because we started to set read and write permissions on this shared folder, we can do all the operations under this directory, and we can also set other permissions on this folder.
