At this point, you will find information about 192.168.137.1 in the IPv4 routing table by typing "route print" at the command prompt running in administrator mode (right-click in the lower left corner of the screen and select "Command prompt Administrator"):

Next, go to the Hyper-V virtual machine settings interface, under "hardware", in "Network Adapter", set "Virtual switch" to the Hyper-V Switch virtual switch that you just set up, and click "OK".

Restart the Hyper-V virtual machine at this time, and set it to "automatically obtain IP address" and "automatically obtain DNS server" in the TCP/IP protocol under the corresponding network connection.

If you use manual settings, set the IP address to "192.167.137.X", X to 2x255 any number, the subnet mask to "255.255.255.0", the default gateway to "192.168.137.1" and the DNS server to "192.168.137.1". Note that the gateway and DNS server here are Microsoft default, do not change if there is no need.

Once you are sure, you will find that the virtual machine is ready for network connection!

If the network connection of the physical machine is changed after that, the sharing needs to be reset and the sharing mode remains the same.

In addition, if you find that the link in the virtual machine becomes an "unrecognized network connection" with a yellow exclamation mark on the network icon, you can check whether the routing table is normal at the command prompt as described above. If it does not contain 192.168.137.1 (as shown in the following figure), it means that the network sharing is not normal. You can disable the network sharing first and then restart it according to the previous article.

In addition to a shared internal network connection, an external network connection can also be used, but if the physical machine contains only one network card device, the physical machine network connection will be disconnected.
