Juniper Firewall loses ScreenOS

Juniper firewall is a hardware firewall, there are hardware systems and software systems, that is, ScreenOS, the hardware will break down and the software will break down naturally. In practical use, I have encountered many cases of ScreenOS loss of Juniper firewall, most of which are caused by sudden power outage.

Here's how to reinstall ScreenOS if you lose ScreenOS.

Connect the PC with the firewall with console cable and network cable.

Power off and restart the firewall and press any key to enter the Loader when prompted for Hit any key to run loader on the command line.

Enter Boot File Name, Self IP Address, and TFTP IP Address when prompted. At the same time, open the TFTP software and set up the download directory.

After rebooting, the following prompt appears in HyperTerminal:
