Access ARM Embedded Linux System from Extranet

ARM embedded Linux system in laboratory can only be accessed in local area network. How can ARM embedded Linux system be accessed from external network?

This article describes the steps to implement using holer.

1. Preparations 1.1 Installing and Starting ARM Embedded Linux Systems

The default sshd port for ARM embedded Linux systems is 22.

2. Do Step 2.1 Download and extract the holer package

Holer package: holer-linux-arm.tar.gz

Holer supports multiple ARM versions, please select the holer program that matches your ARM version and upload it to the system.

2.2 Get holer access key information

Apply for a dedicated holer access key on the holer website or use the open source community access key information.

For example, the holer information obtained by the application is as follows. Here, the holer information is taken as an example:

ARM Linux platform:

Execute command: nohup ./ holer-linux-armxx -k 8866daebe02846t88s166733595fff5d &

2.4 Access the mapped public network address

Enter on the ssh client

Host Name: holer.org Port Number: 65014

Or directly execute the command: ssh root@holer.org-p 65014

This allows access to ARM embedded Linux systems from outside the network.
