Starting MySQL.. ERROR! The server quit without updating PID file (/ usr/local/mysql/localhost.pid).

View mysql's log

Solution:

Execute the delete command: rm-rf / data/mysql/data/ib*

Delete: ibdata1, ib_logfile0, ib_logfile1 files

Restart: service mysqld start
