If no flags are specified, the following information is displayed:

Volume group volume group name. The volume group name must be system-wide and can be 1 to 15 characters.

Volume group state volume group status. If the volume group is activated using the varyonvg command, the volume group status is active/complete (indicating that all physical volumes are active) or active/partial (indicating that some physical volumes are not active). If the volume group is not activated with the varyonvg command, the volume group status is inactive.

Permission access permission: read-only or read-write.

The maximum number of logical volumes allowed in the Max LVs volume group.

The number of logical volumes that LVs is currently in the volume group.

The number of logical volumes in the volume group currently open by Open LVs.

The total number of physical volumes within the Total PVs volume group.

The number of physical volumes currently active by Active PVs.

VG identifier volume group identification.

PP size the size of each physical partition.

The total number of physical partitions within the Total PPs volume group.

The number of physical partitions that Free PP does not have assigned.

The number of physical partitions currently assigned to the logical volume by Alloc PPs.

The number of physical volumes required by most Quorum.

The number of volume group descriptor domains within the VGDS volume group.

Auto-on is automatically activated on IPL (yes or no).

Concurrent indicates whether the volume group is "concurrency" or "non-concurrency" and whether the concurrent volume group is "enhanced" or only "concurrent".

Whether the state of the Auto-Concurrent currently available volume group automatically changes between concurrent and non-concurrent modes. For "non-concurrent" volume groups, the default value is Disabled.

VG Mode volume group mode changes: "concurrent" or "non-concurrent".

Node ID if the volume group is the node identity of the current node where the concurrent node changes.

Active Nodes makes the node identification of other concurrent volume group nodes where the volume group changes.

The maximum number of physical partitions allowed per physical volume by the Max PPs Per PV volume group.

The maximum number of physical volumes allowed by the Max PVs volume group.

The logical track group size of the LTG size volume group in kilobytes.
