2. Upload Apache Tomcat installation package apache-tomcat-7.0.107.tar.gz to the host/usr/local directory.

tar -zxvf apache-tomcat-7.0.107.tar.gz

6. Replace the old tomcat configuration file TOMCAT_HOME/conf/server.xml with the server.xml of the new version of tomcat to avoid reconfiguring the content.

cp /home/weblogic/apache-tomcat-7.0.57/conf/server.xml /home/weblogic/apache-tomcat-7.0.107/conf/

Copy the project to the new tomcat project directory

Project directory default path: /home/weblogic/apache-tomcat-7.0.57/webapps docs, examples, host-manager, manager, ROOT are not moved, these are tomcat default projects

Switch to the webapps directory of the new version of tomcat and check whether the copy is successful, as shown in the following figure:

Backup the old Tomcat and rename the new Tomcat

mv apache-tomcat-7.0.57 apache-tomcat-7.0.57.20201222

9. Start a new tomcat

cd /home/weblogic/apache-tomcat-7.0.107/bin

./ startup.sh

10. Verify that the app works:
