After a preliminary understanding of PLM software, the first thing to do is to sort out the enterprise's internal data model and workflow. (2) numbering rules of parts and drawings: according to the usage code, stipulate the same coding length and consider the redundancy of future product upgrades, that is to say, the number of digits of classification code and pipeline code should be long enough.
(3) numbering rules of standard parts and drawings: the code in the national standard parts is not unique. For example, GB5783-2000 represents a class of bolts of different specifications, and a unique code is required for each kind of bolt. As the number of standard parts is very large, users can consider coding the standard parts used by their own enterprises.
(4) General parts and drawing numbering rules: the products used in the product, such as thread blocks, welding nuts, flange parts, etc., can effectively improve the degree of generalization of the product by sharing it with the R & D personnel. Relatively simple products can also not consider general parts, in addition to national standard parts, non-standard parts are also possible.
(5) numbering rules of materials and auxiliary materials: classify and code the currently used materials and auxiliary materials, which is convenient for designers to choose, and can also avoid the situation that the material is not unique due to capitalization or full width. New materials can be added at any time in the future according to the process.
(6) numbering rules of process documents: there are many process documents in large manufacturing enterprises of small and medium batch products, such as process routes, professional process cards, work instructions, tooling, etc., which should be strictly coded when associated with product parts.
(7) equipment numbering rules: code all the equipment in the company to form an equipment library, which is convenient for CAPP call.
(8) change notice numbering scheme: including drawing change, BOM change, process change notice, etc., which is closely related to daily production, and the code should be easy to read and practical.
The basic database collates the above coding rules before sorting out the basic database, such as standard parts and drawing database, material database, auxiliary material database, equipment database and so on. The arrangement of organizational structure includes departmental structure settings, user list and so on. The definition of user role includes system administrator, design engineer, process engineer, project manager (overall product), department leader, etc., which are related to data access and are finally set by the system administrator.
The collation of product data generally before the implementation of PLM, enterprises will have a large number of product data, such as electronic drawings, product BOM, process data, etc., most of these data have different versions or non-standard and other problems. In accordance with the requirements of PLM software, combined with the above templates and coding rules, the product data should be sorted out for PLM online use.
